Violeta Paus: Santiago, Chile, 1987. FADU-UBA Argentina Image and sound designer degree, PUC Chile M.A. in Visual Arts. In 2019 she premiered french documentary “City Plaza Hotel” (2019), who toured the Clermont-Ferrand 2019, Berlinale 2019 and IFFR 2020. Then “Water Silhouettes” (Chile, 30′, 2020) had its premiere at Dok.Leipzig and has participated in several festivals around the world. Her feature debut ‘Ajawaska, Fragments of a journey to the heights’ (2013), had its premiered at Mar Del Plata International Film Fest. During her stay in Paris she was programmer for Silence on court! film festival. She also made the video installation in a forest in Paris “Sin Panteon” (France, 2014/15) and “Re.Incorporar” (Chile, 2018) about unpunished feminicides in Latin America.
